Redi Roadie Pro+ Review (2026): Specs, Price & Alternatives

Review the Redi Roadie Pro+, including current availability, contents, case, weight and how it compares with Roadie+.

By Moon PickePublished Oct 4, 2026Our review process

Availability note: At the time of our latest check (October 4, 2026), Redi listed The Roadie Pro + as sold out on the official product page and the All Products collection. This Redi Roadie Pro+ review is for shoppers comparing Redi’s lineup. Currently available alternatives are below. We are not implying you can add it to cart today.

The Pro + is Redi’s hard-case, higher-count Roadie SKU. Whether the premium would be worth it depends on the case and extra counted supplies—not on a listed jump starter—and right now the practical purchase is a different in-stock kit. Moon Picke used live pages only. We did not drop, submerge, or medically use a Pro +. See how we evaluate and our editorial standards.

Emergency and first-aid products are not a substitute for professional medical care or appropriate training. For an actual emergency, follow local emergency guidance and seek professional help.

Moon Picke Quick Take

The Roadie Pro + is listed at $425, 250 items, 14.4 lb, size Medium, SKU ROADCA-01-111—and it is sold out. Redi describes a hard case with double throw-latches, a PVC lid trauma compartment, four nylon pouches, Stop the Bleed, a mini medication pouch, and a velcro cargo net. Copy says 100% waterproof, crushproof, and shockproof; no IP rating or numeric dimensions are listed. No jump starter or inflator is listed. Versus in-stock Roadie + ($350, 142 items, 8.7 lb, Cordura bag), the extras are mainly the hard case and piece count. Until Pro + returns, shop Roadie +, The Roadie, or The Jumpie instead.

What is the Redi Roadie Pro+?

Redi currently titles this SKU The Roadie Pro +. It is a consumer readiness kit, not an EMS, paramedic, or hospital-grade system unless Redi said so—which the live page does not. In this Redi Roadie Pro+ review, “Pro+” is a product name for the hard-case, 250-item option: “an option for everyone, which meant making one that could withstand pretty much anything,” plus Stop the Bleed, trauma supplies, and standard Roadie items in one organized case.

That is marketing for a tougher enclosure and a higher piece count. It is not a professional medical credential. Redi also writes that the case can withstand a car rolling over it. That is a manufacturer claim, not a Moon Picke crush test, and no pound-force or standard is published.

What’s inside Roadie Pro+?

Redi advertises 250 items. That is a piece count. Multiples of bandages and wipes can each add one. It is not 250 unique tools. The page does not publish a 250-line inventory. The spec “Included” line names architecture, not every packet:

Interior nylon pouches (4); Stop the Bleed; trauma compartment; mini medication pouch. Opening copy also says Stop the Bleed, trauma supplies, and standard Roadie items. Official photos show labeled pouches (Treatment, Survival, Medication, and a medication/tools/sprain panel) plus a lid-side clear compartment with shears and packed supplies. Moon Picke is not completing a full contents list from photographs and is not teaching how to use any trauma item. A tourniquet is not named in the Pro + on-page copy (unlike some other Redi SKUs).

No jump starter, compressor, power bank, or tow kit is listed. Lighting and vehicle tools, if present, are not itemized here the way The Roadie lists a flashlight and knife. Treat those as not independently verified on this page.

How the Pro+ organizes its contents

Redi: easy-to-open double throw-latches; a clear PVC lid compartment dedicated to trauma; labeled pouches with full content lists; a compartmentalized labeling system. Photos match a lid window plus zip pouches in the base. “Instant access” is brand language, not a timed Moon Picke drill. QR codes in the kit are described for training videos and refill packs—not as a map of every pouch we opened in person.

Case: what makes it different?

The differentiator versus Roadie + is the enclosure. Roadie + is a 1000D Cordura bag. Pro + is a hard case with latches, a rubber molded handle, and an automatic pressure-equalization valve “to balance interior pressure and keep water out.” Redi repeats 100% waterproof, crushproof, and shockproof. Distinctions that matter:

  • Waterproof (Redi’s word) refers to the case claim, not to every cream packet or cardboard box inside.
  • No IP rating is published. Do not translate “100% waterproof” into IP67 or “submersible to X meters.”
  • Dust is not listed.
  • Crush/shock are Redi adjectives plus the car-rollover sentence. No drop height, load table, or MIL-STD is listed. Case brand (for example a named protective-case OEM) is not listed.

How Practical Is the Roadie Pro+ in a Vehicle?

Listed weight is 14.4 lb—heavier than Roadie + at 8.7 lb. Size is only “Medium”; length/width/depth are not listed, so this review will not claim glovebox, under-seat, or universal trunk fit. Photos show a latching hard case on a truck bed / cargo floor. Attachment listed: velcro cargo net, or “tie it down in the trunk.” That is cargo-oriented, not a tiny organizer. 14.4 lb is not lightweight. Accessibility depends on where you can park a Medium hard case you can still unlatch; Moon Picke did not test that in a specific vehicle.

FAQ: the Roadie family is designed to be left in the car year-round. No numeric temperature range is published. The SKU lists no lithium jumper; it does list medications/adhesives in the family FAQ. We are not inventing a storage-degree chart.

First-aid / trauma supplies

Lid trauma compartment plus Stop the Bleed and a trauma compartment in the included line. Photos show shears and packed dressings under PVC. Redi does not classify this as professional trauma gear. Owning a pouch is not training. This review does not describe how to stop bleeding or apply any device.

Vehicle / roadside equipment

Verified on this page: velcro cargo net. A wide variety of items is claimed without a tools list. No jumper cables, inflator, or tow strap are named.

Power / inflation

No powered device is identified. Peak current, engine-liter ratings, USB ports, PSI, and battery chemistry are not listed. A site review that mentions starting a diesel is not a Pro + specification. Power maintenance / charge intervals do not apply to a listed jump pack on this SKU.

QR training, refills, expiration

This page: training on how and when to use each item; training videos in the included carousel; QR codes linking to training videos and refill packs. Presenters, as Redi states: nurses, Global Emergency Medics, and ER nurses. Do not upgrade those titles. Account, subscription, and internet requirements are not listed as kit specs. Watching a video is not first-aid, CPR, or EMS certification.

FAQ: average expiration 2–4 years with email reminders; restock via QR and website refill packs. That average is not one date for the whole 250-count kit. Not FSA/HSA eligible, per Redi. A product-page warranty term is not listed. Site returns remain the general 30-day unused policy. Total cost of ownership, if it returned to stock, would be $425 plus later refills—no annual refill dollar figure is estimated here.

What Does Roadie Pro+ Add Over Roadie+?

Live Roadie + (in stock): $350; 142 items; 8.7 lb; 11″ × 12″ × 6″; 1000D Cordura bag; included Roadie bag, Stop the Bleed Trauma Pack, mini medication pouch; water-resistant bag language; no IP; no listed jumper/inflator; QR to training videos and refills on that page.

When both prices are listed, the gap is $75.00 (Moon Picke calculation: $425 − $350). That premium, on current copy, buys a hard case with latches, valve, and PVC trauma lid; 250 vs 142 counted items; 14.4 lb vs 8.7 lb; a cargo net instead of the bag’s velcro pad; four named interior nylon pouches. It does not, on either live page, buy jump-start or inflation. Because Pro + is sold out, that $75 is not a checkout upsell today—it is a paper comparison for when/if inventory returns.

Is the premium worth it?

On paper, the extra $75 vs Roadie + is mostly case protection claims and 108 more counted pieces at +5.7 lb. That can be rational if you specifically want a latching hard case Redi calls waterproof/crushproof/shockproof and you accept no published IP or dimensions. It is a weak premium if you only wanted more bandages, or if you thought Pro + included a jumper. More expensive is not automatically better. Right now the premium is also academic: you cannot check out.

Roadie Pro+ Is Sold Out: What Should You Buy Instead?

Match the job to an in-stock SKU.

Want organized supplies plus a removable trauma pack, available today: The Roadie + at $350—the closest in-stock sibling, still without a listed jumper.

Check The Roadie +

Want a smaller, cheaper labeled car bag: The Roadie at $159.99 (115 items; no listed jumper; weight not listed on its page).

Check The Roadie

Want jump-start / USB charging: The Jumpie at $139.99 (Redi: 20,000 mAh, 2000A peak, 7.2 L gas / 8.0 L diesel claims; no compressor listed). That is a different product, not a Pro + substitute.

Check The Jumpie

If you were waiting on Pro + for the hard case itself, the current catalog does not list another IP-published Redi case. Watch the official Pro + page rather than treating Roadie + photos as the same product.

Pros

  • Listed 250-item mix in a hard case with labeled pouches and a PVC trauma lid (photos + copy).
  • Stop the Bleed / trauma compartment / mini medication pouch named in the included line.
  • Redi waterproof / crushproof / shockproof case language plus a pressure-equalization valve and double throw-latches.
  • QR to training videos and refill packs; presenters named as nurses / Global Emergency Medics / ER nurses (Redi).
  • Published 14.4 lb product weight (clearer than The Roadie’s missing weight).
  • Cargo-net attachment listed for vehicle tie-down.

Cons

  • Sold out at the latest check—not a current checkout option.
  • $425 listed price and 14.4 lb; Medium size with no numeric dimensions.
  • No listed jump starter or inflator despite the premium.
  • 250-count is not a published unique-tool list; no IP, dust, load, or MIL-STD numbers under the case adjectives.
  • Consumables expire (2–4 year average FAQ); refills add later cost.
  • Does not replace EMS, roadside assistance, or a dedicated jumper.

Who should buy it?

When it is actually in stock: buyers who want Redi’s current hard-case, 250-count listing; who prioritize a latching case Redi calls waterproof/crushproof over a Cordura bag; who will accept more weight for that enclosure; who are not shopping this SKU for jump-start hardware.

Who should skip it?

Anyone shopping today who needs something they can order now; anyone already served by Roadie +; anyone who wants The Roadie’s smaller bag; anyone whose gap is a jump starter; anyone who needs occupational EMS equipment; anyone who requires a published IP rating or exterior dimensions before buying a “waterproof” case.

FAQ

What is the Redi Roadie Pro+?

Redi’s hard-case Roadie SKU listing 250 items, 14.4 lb, Stop the Bleed / trauma compartment / four nylon pouches / mini medication pouch, sold as a readiness kit.

Is Roadie Pro+ still available?

At our October 4, 2026 check, Redi listed it as sold out. The product page was still live at $425.

How much is Roadie Pro+?

Listed price $425.00. Not a live sale price. You cannot treat that as an in-stock checkout.

How many items are in Roadie Pro+, and how much does it weigh?

250 pieces advertised; 14.4 lb. Piece count includes multiples. Exterior dimensions are not listed (size Medium).

What is the difference between Roadie+ and Roadie Pro+?

Roadie + is an in-stock 8.7 lb Cordura bag, 142 items, $350. Pro + is a sold-out 14.4 lb hard case, 250 items, $425 listed. Neither lists a jumper. Case claims and count are the main documented extras.

Is the Roadie Pro+ case waterproof?

Redi says 100% waterproof, crushproof, and shockproof, with a pressure-equalization valve. No IP rating is listed. That claim is about the case, not every internal supply.

Does Roadie Pro+ include a jump starter?

No. Not listed. The Jumpie is Redi’s separate jump-starter product.

Do supplies expire, and can you refill them?

FAQ: average 2–4 years with email reminders; QR and website refill packs. Not one expiry for the whole kit.

Is Roadie Pro+ worth it?

Only as a future hard-case / 250-count buy if inventory returns and you want that enclosure. It is not worth waiting for if you need supplies or power this week—use Roadie +, The Roadie, or The Jumpie instead.

What should I buy if Roadie Pro+ is sold out?

Roadie + for an available bag-plus-trauma-pack kit; The Roadie for a smaller bag; The Jumpie for jump-start/charging. Confirm live stock on those pages.

Final verdict

The Roadie Pro + is Redi’s listed premium in this Redi Roadie Pro+ review: a 14.4 lb hard case, 250 counted items, and case-level waterproof/crush/shock language—at $425, and sold out on October 4, 2026. “Pro+” does not mean professional medical gear or a hidden Jumpie. The $75 listed gap versus Roadie + is mainly the case and count. Until Redi restocks it, the practical path is an in-stock Roadie-family bag or The Jumpie, not a fake checkout button for Pro +. None of these products replaces professional help.
