What’s Inside the Redi Roadie? 115 Items Explained

See what's inside the Redi Roadie, how its 115 current items are organized, which supplies are consumable, and how refills work.

By Moon PickePublished Oct 4, 2026Our review process

The Roadie is Redi’s current vehicle-oriented readiness kit. This page is a live inventory guide: what Redi currently lists inside the kit, how those pieces add up, how they are grouped, and which parts are consumable, reusable, or likely to expire. It is not a full product review, not a first-aid-kit comparison, and not medical advice.

Moon Picke pulled the current contents from Redi’s official Roadie product page on October 4, 2026. Quantities below are taken from that published list. Moon Picke did not open a kit, physically count pieces, or use any of the supplies.

Quick answer: how many items are in the Roadie?

Redi currently advertises The Roadie as a 115-item kit, priced at $159.99 and in stock as of October 4, 2026. Based on Redi’s current published inventory, those 115 pieces are individual units — not 115 unique products. Moon Picke counted 50 unique item types across the listed lines. Those types span first-aid supplies, over-the-counter packets, PPE, tools, lighting, signaling, weather, hygiene, and documentation. The case and three car attachments are sold with the kit; they are not needed to reach the 115-piece total from the interior list. The useful takeaway: the advertised count is a piece count of listed contents, with a large share coming from duplicate bandages, wipes, ointments, and medication packets.

Car attachments (extra) 3 Velcro pad, buckle strap, large velcro strap

Based on Redi’s current published inventory, Moon Picke was able to reconcile the listed quantities with Redi’s advertised 115-item count. That reconciliation is a desk count of published lines, not a physical audit of a shipped kit.

How Redi counts the items

Redi does not publish a counting white paper. The live list behaves like a piece count: each bandage, wipe, cream, and medication packet is one; each tool is one except (5) zip ties; gloves are two pairs (two pieces, not four gloves); flashlight batteries are included, not extra lines; the case is not needed for 115; three car attachments are listed under Included, separate from the mix; QR refill access is not a physical item; the first aid booklet is in the 115. Twenty pieces are 1×3″ and children’s bandages alone. Read the marketing number as 115 pieces, 50 unique types, and 10 interior categories plus mounts — not 115 different capabilities.

Complete Roadie contents

Every currently listed component is in the tables below. Source status is VERIFIED when Redi publishes both the name and a quantity on the product page. One FAQ mention — an “emergency pressure bandage” in a latex-free note — is not on the numbered contents list, so it is not added to the count.

First-aid supplies (74 pieces, 24 types)

This is the largest share: adhesive bandages, gauze, skin packets, wound-prep wipes and ointment, plus a thermometer, silk tape, and eye wash. These are general first-aid supplies, not a professional trauma module. Sizes appear only when Redi lists them. Bandage and gauze brands are NOT LISTED.

Trauma-focused supplies (called out, not extra pieces)

The current list does not include a tourniquet, chest seal, hemostatic gauze, compressed gauze brick, or a numbered emergency pressure bandage. Closer to “more than tiny adhesives,” and already inside the 115: 6″ trauma shears (tools), one abdominal pad, two wound closure strips, a 4″ gauze roll, and a cohesive wrap. Ordinary gauze is not labeled hemostatic here; Redi does not use that word on the Roadie page.

PPE (3 pieces, 2 types)

Published PPE is two latex-free nitrile glove pairs plus one CPR shield. No masks or eye protection. “Medical grade,” sterile status, and shield model are NOT LISTED. Inventory only — no use instructions.

Item Qty Notes
Pair of nitrile gloves, latex free 2 Pairs, not 4 gloves.
CPR shield 1 Named barrier only.

Medications (18 pieces, 8 types)

Eight OTC packet names. Parenthetical brand comparables are Redi’s wording, not recommendations. Packet size and dosing are NOT LISTED and are not given here. These 18 packets are 18 of 115 pieces, not 18 extra drug classes.

Item Qty Notes
Iprin 4 Redi: ~Advil®.
APAP 2 Redi: ~Tylenol®.
Aspirin 2 Redi: ~Bayer®.

Tools (13 pieces, 9 types)

The compact published mix: fixed blade knife, 6″ trauma shears, stainless tweezers, duct tape, five zip ties, 10 ft paracord, flint, marker, and an instant cold pack. Redi does not call this a rescue-tool set. Extra specs are NOT LISTED except where noted.

Fixed blade knife 1
Heavy duty duct tape 1
Stainless steel tweezers 1 Stainless listed.
6″ trauma shears 1 6″ listed.

Item Qty Notes
Pen flashlight, batteries included 1 Batteries not extra items.
Whistle 1

Power

None listed — no power bank, jump starter, or inflator. Do not copy Jumpie specs onto Roadie.

Weather, warmth, and hygiene (2 pieces)

List: one poncho and one emergency urinal. A foil sheet may appear in official layout photos but is not a numbered contents line, so it is not added. Sanitizing wipes already sit in first aid. Not a winter system.

Item Qty Notes
Poncho 1
Emergency urinal 1

Vehicle / roadside equipment (3 attachments, outside the 115)

The car-specific extra is storage hardware, not a mechanic set: velcro pad (carpet), buckle strap (seat/headrest), velcro strap (tether/hook). Included, not in the 115. No jumper cable, inflator, or triangle on the list.

Item Qty Notes
Velcro mounting pad 1 Included hardware; extra to 115.
Buckle strap 1 Included hardware; extra to 115.

Documentation (1 piece)

A first aid booklet is a contents line (in the 115). QR codes are documented for refill packs, implying internet for the hub. Page count, languages, presenters, and certification are NOT LISTED. QR is not a 116th physical item.

How Redi organizes all these items

Redi describes see-through mesh pockets, readable labels, and color-coded compartments by product type, plus a named Bandage Pouch. Official photos show a book-style case. Moon Picke does not guess pocket maps beyond named groups and labels.

Roadie section / module What it contains
Bandage pouch (named on list) Published bandage-pouch lines: adhesive bandages, blister pads, wound closure strips
Color-coded / labeled mesh compartments Grouped by product type per Redi; exact pocket-to-SKU map NOT fully published as a table
QR labels Refill ordering from codes inside the kit
Exterior case 1000D Cordura shell, handle/straps visible in photos; strap hardware listed separately

Design intent: visible categories, restockable pouches, unlike items kept apart. No timed “faster in an emergency” claim without a test.

How much space does the Roadie take up?

Dimensions: 9.4″ × 8″ × 3.3″. Weight: NOT LISTED on the spec table; Shopify variant weight 1,565 g. Storage copy is car-oriented (cargo, seat-back, hooks) without a “fits every trunk/SUV/seat” claim. Heat, cold, adhesives, batteries, and med packets are reasonable concerns; numeric limits are NOT LISTED. Redi’s FAQ says it is designed to stay in the car year-round — Redi’s statement, not a climate test.

Which Roadie items are consumable?

Most of the 115 pieces are single-use. Reusable core: knife, shears, tweezers, flashlight, whistle, marker. Redi does not publish per-item dates — only a 2–4 year average plus reminder emails.

Item category Consumable? Expiration listed? Refill available?
Adhesive bandages YES VARIES (kit-level 2–4 yr average) YES (Adhesive Bandage Refill)
Gauze / pads / wrap YES VARIES YES (Gauze Refill)
Skin / wound packets & wipes YES VARIES YES (Skin and Wound Aid Refill)
Medication packets YES YES (kit-level reminder system) YES (Medication Refill)
Glucose / electrolyte packets YES NOT LISTED per packet NOT CLEAR as a named pack
Gloves / CPR shield YES NOT LISTED NOT CLEAR as a named pack
Instant cold pack YES NOT LISTED YES (Instant Cold Pack 4-pack)
Poncho / urinal YES NOT LISTED YES (poncho 4-pack; disposable urinal)
Knife, shears, tweezers, marker NO NO VARIES (Survival / tools refill exists)
Flashlight NO (batteries YES) NOT LISTED NOT LISTED for the light itself
Duct tape / paracord / zip ties / flint / whistle VARIES NOT LISTED VARIES (Survival Refill)
Case and mounts NO NO NOT LISTED as a refill

Which items expire?

Redi: average 2–4 years, dates stored at purchase, reminder emails. That is management, not a public per-SKU date table. Moon Picke does not invent printed dates. Medications and many packets are the groups Redi’s refill taxonomy treats as restockable consumables.

How refills work

Roadie-specific refills on the hub (same quantities, per Redi). Live October 4, 2026: Skin and Wound Aid $9; Adhesive Bandage $7; Gauze $7; Survival $15; Medication $7; Instant Cold Pack 4-pack $5; rain poncho 4-pack; disposable urinal $12. Restock path: in-kit QR plus website. Loose retail SKUs are not assumed compatible.

What Roadie does not include

Buyer-relevant gaps vs common “car kit” expectations — not a wishlist of unrelated gear:

  • No jump starter and no tire inflator
  • No tourniquet, chest seal, or named hemostatic dressing on the list
  • No large water supply or filter
  • No full mechanic tool set, power bank, or professional medical panel

The Roadie contents that most expand its scope beyond basic first aid

These verified items add a function that another bandage does not:

  1. Fixed blade knife — cutting/tooling, not a dressing.
  2. 6″ trauma shears — a dedicated shear, not safety scissors inferred from a photo.
  3. Vehicle mount set — three car attachments for storage, not a medical add-on.
  4. Pen flashlight — lighting in a kit that is otherwise analog.
  5. Poncho — weather cover; still not a shelter system.
  6. Flint fire starter + 10 ft paracord + zip ties — utility cluster beyond adhesive care.
  7. Emergency urinal — a vehicle-hygiene item most tin kits omit.
  8. Medication packet set — eight named types; still not a pharmacy.

Where the item count adds up quickly

Transparency on the 115 figure: 33 pieces are bandage-pouch adhesives and related small dressings. 18 pieces are medication packets. 15 pieces are ointment, towelettes, and sanitizing wipes in wound prep (excluding gloves). Five zip ties are one utility type. Together, those duplicate consumables are why “115 items” is a piece count. The unique-type count of 50 is the better sense of how many different things you are actually looking at.

What do these contents add up to?

The current Roadie is a preassembled mix: dense first-aid, a small OTC packet set, compact tools, and car mounts in labeled Cordura with QR refills. Breadth across categories is real; bandage and med duplication is also real; specialized trauma gear is largely absent on the list. Maintenance is part of the product. This page does not invent a “kit value” total or a worth-it verdict.

What Jumpie adds to Roadie

Roadie has no jump-start hardware. The Jumpie is separate: $139.99, in stock October 4, 2026. Redi describes a jump starter (Redi states it can jump an 8.0L diesel), a built-in flashlight, and USB plus auxiliary-outlet cables. Those functions are not inside Roadie. Adjacent SKU for a dead battery — not a hidden Roadie tray, and not a “best kit for your car” ranking.

FAQ

How many items are in the Redi Roadie?

Redi currently advertises 115 items. Moon Picke’s desk count of the published quantities also totals 115 pieces across 50 unique types. The case and three car attachments are extra included hardware.

What’s included in the Redi Roadie?

A labeled Cordura case with first-aid supplies, eight types of OTC packets, two pairs of nitrile gloves, a CPR shield, compact tools, a pen flashlight, whistle, poncho, emergency urinal, glucose and electrolyte packets, a first aid booklet, and three car mounts. See the tables above for every listed line.

Does Roadie have a first-aid kit inside?

Conclusion

On October 4, 2026, The Roadie is $159.99 and in stock. Advertised 115 items match a desk sum of published quantities: mostly duplicate first-aid consumables, plus compact tools and one lighting, signaling, weather, and hygiene line each, in a color-coded case with mounts and refill/email expiration. The tables are the inventory answer. A buy verdict belongs elsewhere.
